Among the four seasons in a year, in which season do you feel most unhealthy? Most of you may say it is winter, but it does not really need to be the unhealthiest time of the year for you and your family. Recently, National Health Service (NHS) in the UK has suggested daily food that can help you to stay strong in winter. 
 
According to NHS, you have 80% chances of getting a cold in winter. They say that milk and dairy products make your immune system stronger and protect yourself from catching a cold. Why don’t you go to the supermarket and get some cheese, milk, or yogurt? Since they are rich in vitamins, protein and calcium, they will keep you strong in the winter.
 
 
  

 

 As well as dairy products, you can keep yourself healthy just by having a warm breakfast. It is not only a good way to start your day but also it gives you energy. NHS explains that warm breakfast such as porridge helps you intake starchy food which gives you energy and stops you from eating snacks in the afternoon. But remember, don’t add sugar or salt to your porridge. Try it with raisins, berries or bananas. It will make it more tasty and nutritious!
